SEO services

Search engine optimisation (SEO) services.

SEO is the activity of optimising web pages or whole web sites, in order to make them more search engine friendly and potentially gaining a higher position in search results.

Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that optimising your web site will get it a higher ranking but in our experience properly optimised web sites tend to rank better than those who are not optimised.

A brief overview of how search engines work.

Search engines, like Google, Yahoo & MSN constantly crawl (search) the internet looking at content on web sites; they read the text content of a site and then, if appropriate, index it for later processing and retrieval (when someone requests it).

They crawl the internet by following a link from one web site to another. So, the better you present relevant text, incorporating key words, on your site and the more links you have leading to your web site the better chance you have of being listed and ranked highly.

This is a very brief overview of how search engines go about indexing the internet.

So how will your web site benefit from our SEO service.

Our SEO service will begin by looking in great detail at your web sites current exposure to search engines; based on your business name, URL, nature of business and its presentation of the same within your web site; or as its known, your web sites search engine signature.

We'll work out what key words best fit your product/services being advertised and then, were necessary change your web site design and content to make sure your site is optimised properly for your key words and presents itself as more search engine friendly.

Finally, we may also re-write the raw base code of your site; search engines prefer html, or code in general, that is well written and properly structured; this is why we write to W3C standards.

A more complete approach to advertising your web site would be to include SEO and maybe paid search results for given keywords; these two services tend to complement each other.
